Teresa’s real estate expertise spans from first time home buyers, move up buyers,  investors, short sales, foreclosed properties and 1031 tax deferred exchange..  She works at her clients’ pace.  She can sprint and close a transaction quickly or take several months to untangle a short sale transaction, probate sale or trust sale.  She grew up In Santa Cruz and has extensive knowledge of the micro climates and neighborhoods in Santa Cruz County.  Being bilingual and bicultural has allowed her to connect to a larger group of people.  Being fluent in Spanish has been an asset throughout her real estate career.  

Teresa works closely with her team of competent professionals, ie, title and escrow companies, transaction coordinator, attorneys, surveyors, CPA’s, home inspectors and termite inspectors, to name a few. 

She graduated from Harbor High School in 1977, Cabrillo College in 1979 with a Banking and Finance AA.  She was a stay at home mom while her two daughters were young.  In 1987 she obtained her real estate license and in 1998 her real estate broker license.  She lives in Santa Cruz with her husband and her cat.  If she is not answering her phone it is because she is out hiking the beautiful redwood forests in Santa Cruz, the endless beaches along the coast, dancing Cuban Salsa Rueda or twirling on the dance floor with the Contra Dance Community.
