I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where I graduated from Benson Polytechnic High School, majoring in electronics. I moved to San Jose, California in 1987 and spent several years in the copier and fax machine industry. I learned the lesson that our customers (the corporate decision-makers) cared only about the dollar and not the quality of service. I knew that the general public appreciates good service and I felt that my services would be better appreciated in the real estate industry. So, I hit the books and in 1995, I obtained my real estate license. I found real estate to be a wonderful career that enabled me to help people on a more personal level. I spent several years mainly originating mortgages but I eventually made the shift away from lending and began to focus primarily on assisting clients with the purchase and sale of their homes. The real estate industry enables me to get a sense of satisfaction, knowing I am able to help people with one of the biggest decisions of their life. And, they show their appreciation by referring their family and friends.

In 2007, I obtained the Manufactured Home Sales Persons License which allowed me to custom-design and sell brand-new manufactured homes. 
This expanded my insight into various forms of housing and allowed me to further hone my customer service skills. I conduct my business with a sense of honesty, integrity, sincerity, privacy and understanding. I continually educate myself. This, in turn, allows me the insight to educate my clients throughout the transaction to they are able to make good, informed decisions.

I also am a real estate investor so I feel I have a well-rounded approach to my profession.
