Greetings - Since 2004 I've been working with the same real estate group on the Monterey Peninsula - Formally the Mitchell Group it was acquired by Sotheby's International Realty in 2005. A fantastic change in my opinion. Sotheby's is a name recognized worldwide and when you live in an area that attracts worldwide visitors, this is a real plus.

Having lived in Carmel Highlands, (the coastal area about four miles south of Carmel), for over 30 years, I am well acquainted with my market and work mostly by referral. I concentrate on Carmel Highlands, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Pacific Grove, Monterey and Pebble Beach. My background has been in business and real estate. My education is in art and business and life.

Prior to getting into real estate as an agent, my husband and I ran our own local businesses. Prior to that we lived on the East coast where I worked for Boston architects, CBS New York and in my family's Adirondack Mt, NY, wilderness lodge. I learned my marketing skills from running these small retail & manufacturing businesses, and while buying and selling multi-unit and single family housing. My husband and I love hiking and exploring. We've spent a fair amount of time on bicycles and river rafts. We've driven across the country several times - always a different route. We are avid travelers here and abroad, yet in all our travels we've yet to find a better place than the Monterey Peninsula. The climate and the scenery - fantastic; the food - amazing; the wines - sublime; the events - world class (I think our favorite is Classic Car Week in August). I think of our special area as small, clean, safe, sophisticated and convenient.
