Ten years ago Lesley Shea transitioned from Vice President of Client Services where she ran sales and marketing for a top demand generation agency in Silicon Valley serving Fortune 500 companies to Vice President of Marketing for Carmel Realty Company. This transition began her decade long career in real estate as Vice President of Marketing for three of Northern California's top luxury brokerages.
While at Carmel Realty Company, she advanced the brokerage through the creation of national and international partnerships to expand the companies network, overhauled the website, and implemented various technology to increase the brokerage's listing visibility. Her proudest contribution while at Carmel Realty was the creation of the brokerage's magazine, "1913" that is still in publication today.
Her contributions were noticed within the industry and she was recruited to be Vice President of Marketing for Alain Pinel Realtors. Through an acquisition she then found herself at Compass, the largest brokerage in the country by sales volume, and in less than a year was promoted to Head of Marketing for the Northern California region overseeing a 50+ person team serving 4,000+ agents in over 80 offices.
During these ten years on the executive teams of leading luxury brokerages, Lesley was counted on by top agents in California and throughout the country to create intricate marketing strategies for top luxury properties and attended listing presentations with potential clients, securing several eight figure listings and a property that listed for over $100 million.
Like many residents of Carmel, Lesley moved here for an improved quality-of-life for herself and to raise her two sons. Now that her sons are grown, she's finally able to fully lean into her entrepreneurial spirit to create her own real estate company providing the level of high-touch service and professionalism that she's been promoting to her agents for all these years.
"I see myself more as a Real Estate Advisor, rather than an agent. Much like a Financial Advisor, CPA, or attorney, my role is to advise clients on the best way to acquire and dispose of real estate assets. The difference is that in real estate the best isn't always based on financial gain as there are so may varying elements at play within each real estate transaction, and it's my job to help my clients identify what is best for them and to help them achieve their goal."
